Corporate Prayer

Prayer is the heartbeat of Hope Christian Church. Jesus declared, “My house shall be called a house of prayer” (Matthew 21:13), echoing God’s promise in Isaiah 56:7 that His people would rejoice in His presence through prayer. We believe every believer is called into this identity. Prayer is not a ministry for a few—it is the mandate of the whole Church.

At HOPE, prayer is the engine that drives everything we do. It fuels revival, sustains transformation, anchors our unity, and keeps us aligned with the leading of the Holy Spirit. Scripture also commands, “The fire on the altar shall be kept burning… it shall never go out” (Leviticus 6:12–13). Corporate prayer is how we keep that fire alive—together.

What is birthed in prayer must be sustained in prayer. For us, prayer is not an event; it is a lifestyle, a rhythm, and a sacred responsibility.

    Why Corporate Prayer Matters

Corporate prayer shapes the spiritual foundation of our church and aligns us with God’s heart. In these times of intercession, we:

    • Draw near to God and cultivate deeper intimacy with Him
    • Build unity across generations, cultures, and families
    • Stand as watchmen in our city and region
    • Intercede for breakthrough in our homes, communities, and nation
    • Prepare the spiritual atmosphere for worship, ministry, and revival
    • Keep the fire on the altar burning, as God commanded Israel to do daily (Leviticus 6:12–13)

We believe revival is sustained by a praying church. When we gather to pray, we join heaven’s agenda and create a place for God to move.
